Gain and RBS Truro Set to Deliver Free Power of Marketing Seminar For Cornish Businesses

Cornish accountants for growth Gain is teaming up with the Commercial Team at The Royal Bank of Scotland in Truro to deliver a free 2–hour seminar on the benefits that effective marketing and communications can deliver.

Taking place at Gain’s office and conference facility, just off Chiverton Cross Roundabout, between 9am and 11am on Thursday, September 26th, the free seminar aims to provide small business owners with an insight into how effective marketing, when combined with a full understanding of your business numbers can reap real rewards by raising profile, setting you apart from competition, maintaining positive dialogue with prospects and customers, opening new markets and ultimately increasing sales.

With 25 spaces available, Gain and RBS are inviting business owners to register for the 2-hour seminar as soon as possible.

Areas that will be covered include – understanding your customers, assessing, identifying and finding the right customers for you, reviewing yourself and your existing marketing materials, effective targeting and routes to your customers, effective ways to engage and be creative, the importance of understanding your business numbers in tandem with your marketing objectives and keeping marketing momentum.

“We are absolutely delighted to be collaborating with the commercial team at RBS in Truro to deliver this seminar. For businesses to succeed, one of the most effective ways to do this is through targeted, effective and sustained marketing campaigns across a number of levels. But that can only happen properly if the business owners also understand their business numbers and what they are telling them, so the seminar is geared to ally that understanding of the numbers with a close look at some of the fundamental things that need to be considered and addressed if marketing is going to make a real and positive difference to the business through increased sales, raised profile, customer retention, or increased spend, to name but a few benefits,” said Gain Director Ian Jefferies.

“On the surface it may seem odd that Gain and RBS are collaborating to deliver what is a marketing-driven seminar, but we both recognise the impact that effective marketing can have on businesses and wanted to create a seminar that offered real and practical advice and insight. The fact that we recently launched an in-house marketing and communications service here at Gain, means we have the skills and experience to talk with knowledge on both the numbers and the marketing,” added Ian.

RBS Business Manager Simon Barrand believes by combining the importance of understanding business numbers with that of the role of targeting and creativity through marketing will offer real benefits to those attending.

“The goal is to create an event that offers not only practical support and insight to business owners on ways to engage with their customers and potential customers but that also recognises the importance of the financial aspects and goals of the business which need to work in tandem with the marketing, and we hope this appeals to business owners interested in attending,” said Simon.

Anyone wanting to attend the event can register by emailing info@gainaccountancy.co.uk or by calling 01872 560326.
